I
was born in Chernobyl and went through the time of losing the life my
family knew so well when nuclear power plant exploded. In 1986 we moved
to Kiev without our dad. He was forced to stay to struggle the consequences
of nuclear explosion for two years not really knowing the consequences
he would soon have to struggle within his own body.
The things that were meant for the evil God turned into good. All
my family but dad believed in Jesus when first missionaries settled
in the land of Ukraine.
When i turned 15, I was baptized and that very moment I received the
call from the Lord to become a missionary, to bring the light of His
fully abundant life to nations that are wondering in the darkness. This
strong desire would never leave me. and even though I wanted to go on
the field that very time God wanted me wait. Meanwhile God placed me
on the team of youth leaders together with my sister in “Transformation”
church in Kiev, where I ministered as a youth leader for 6 years. Two
years ago God gave me an opportunity to go to a muslim country called
Kyrgyzstan within YFC.
