Hi everyone!
We've had some computer problems so it has taken us a while to touch bases.
We wanted to ask you to pray for the following things:
- Summer evangelism. We are really blessed to have Jonathan Doub, Katie Glatback, Olya, and Marina from Chernigov, Ukraine helping us this summer. Pray that we all as one team would be able to reach a lot of people with the gospel.
- Church registration. That the government would process our papers quickly.
- New believers. That they would grow in their knowledge of Jesus. That we all as a body would love the Word and grow in unity.
- Gulya. A young girl that has been living with us the past month and a half. We met her about 2 months ago at a local clinic while waiting to get an abortion. Because of her culture and religion if any of the males in her family find out she is pregnant she could be killed. Her mother tore Gulya's hair out when she found out and said that she would kill her of she saw her again. She was told to get rid of the baby or not to come back. Gulya agreed to stay with us and we will be adopting the baby. Please pray as Thursday we found out that there is complications with the baby and the placenta. The doctors will probably try and remove the baby this Monday. She is in her 8th month.
Also pray for completion of needed documents and finances for the adoption.
Most of all pray for Gulya's salvation.
Praise the Lord the Markeys and Gourleys arrived safely from Ukraine this past Wednesday! They will be helping here with the church.
