Now, after 3 months in Bishkek, church is growing with a growing interest in the Word. Worship team is developing, too. Also, School of Ministry has begun 2 nights a week. On Friday night, we have Bible Study with students from India going through the book of Revelation. There are unbelievers who come, so pray for their salvation. Also, after Sunday night movie, shared with students from Pakistan, who are Muslim.
We have started a Youth Club and an English Club and they have been successful tools in reaching the youth. The group from Vajta Bible College in Hungary, came for an Outreach the last week in October. They helped us start the English Club and they were good witnesses.
This is the first time in 14 years that we have lived in a house. We are the only foreigners in our area of the city as far as I know. We are forming new strategies in reaching these Muslim people around us, building new relationships and showing kindness to them. The roads in our area are very rough, with open sewer holes. But the view of the snow-capped mountains is just beautiful as we drive into town.
Please pray: 1) For the Work of the Holy Spirit here and for the new believers to be Filled with the Holy Spirit. 2) For the Church Registration (necessary before we can legally call ourselves a church) 3) For the New Youth Club, that many youth will get saved. 4) For the English Club, that many will find Christ 5) Wisdom in reaching the Muslims for Christ.
